Every time I watch something by Krzysztof Zanussi, I know from the first 5 minutes that I’m watching a masterpiece, and Eter is nothing less. Superb filmography, you will wonder why the opening explores in detail Hans Memling’s 1467 triptych “The Last Judgment”. Spoiler: Faust
