I visit your site regulary and appreciate reading without the blinkblink. I noticed that the Json links to the /links is no more available. I used it to practise my Python and made a nice script to parse it, and check the availability of the link (some where offline last time I run the script). I took a look at the issue and found that at one point, the permalink in RSS changed from https to http, which triggered some macOS shenanigans about "insecure" connections.

the café community idea sounds great for information exchange, it's definitely faster than blogging and people that don't feel like making a blog site can still share their thoughts/knowledge. the fact that that knowledge would be centralized in one place makes the idea even nicer, as people can just connect and get a discussion going using the old fashioned way of a forum
