bt_rdev_is_encrypted()

Determine whether the connection with the remote Bluetooth-enabled device is encrypted.

int bt_rdev_is_encrypted(const bt_remote_device_t *remote_device)

Since:

Arguments:

remote_device

A pointer to a remote device structure.

Library:

libbtapi (For the qcc command, use the -l btapi option to link against this library)

Description:

If a non-negative value is returned, it indicates that the connection is encrypted by default.

Returns:

The positive encrypted flag is returned upon success, -1 with the errno set otherwise. Possible errno values include:
  • EINVAL: An invalid parameter was passed in.
